The Movers Foundation (M.F) is a charitable foundation in Kenya, whose aim is to reach out to the underprivileged children and youths in our society.

They intend to work through different projects and through use of various performing arts so as to empower them in any means possible.

One of such projects is Rep Th’ Floor , a charitable dance competition, to be held on 21 August at the Sarakasi Dome, Ngara, Nairobi. Competing will be 15 most talented dance crews in Kenya, battling it out for a grand prize of a whooping Ksh.80,000, part of it going up to charity.

The Fresh 15 Crews will be: Lexxani Crew, Sisko, Black-blingerz, L.A.P.D., Air-Force, Florics, Flip Its, Forgotten Heroez, S.I.C (Soldiers in Christ), U.G.K., Born-Again, Titans Crew, Immortal heroes, Seekerz and Edge.

Entry charges are 200bob advanced and 300bob at the gate.

In this post we bring you 2 Crews among the 15 that will be competing: Lexxani Crew and Sisko.

Sisko Crew

SISKO: Malta Guiness Champs 2009, 1st runners up in 2008

These guyz pioneered dance in Kenya, especially the art of B-boy-ing, arguably the best b-boys (and b-girls) in Kenya

SISKO: A b-boy "Freeze" right there. . .

And "tutt" master too..they are NOT to be under- estimated

In support of the young vibrant Kenya Dance Industry, please show up and support Dance as an art in Kenya. Without this moral support from within, the art will not develop.

As a dancer, and in support of the Kenya Dance Council, I add a plea:  Spread the word! And come watch the show, tickets are affordable :) Thank you all! Hope to see you all there.
