Professional Photography is a fast- maturing industry in Kenya and again, NKT! They say in Swahili “Kizuri chajiuza” (Good things sell themselves *direct translation* : ), and that’s how I came to know of Leon Muli. When Talent meets Hard- work, miracles take place. I honestly think this is the case with Leon. His work is waaaaaay overboard, despite his age (he’s in his 20′s). He’s one of my favourite photographers I must say, a person I look up to.

So I collected some of his photos from his site and blog, which I thought were outstanding. If you like what you see, you can join his group on facebook. Enjoy : )

Self Portrait

This was my personal favourite out of this bunch. Its so artistic.

I think this last piece was ingenious. If you liked this post feel free to share. Thanks for visiting.

Dan Magothe is a Contemporary Artist in Nairobi, Kenya. I met him on facebook, well first through his art. The following is part of a collection he’s exhibiting, dubbed “Peaces of my heART”. He’s primarily a dry- media artist, uses pencil for most of his work.

I think its incredible the way he captures detail and emotion. Have a look at his work. You can follow Dan Magothe on facebook.

I Choose Peace- A Campaign

"I Choose Peace" a peace campaign against post- election violence

So we had our Constitutional refferendum a few weeks ago, and I decided to engage in a Peace Campaign, following 2007′ Post Election Violence. Thank God things went well, no violence experienced here in Kenya.

So I designed the above image as my campaign material. It was online, targeting mostly facebookers. I wanted people to put up this image as their profile pictures and tag as many people as possible, in solidarity.

Successful is not even close, it went viral.

.: Rep Th’ Floor :.

In support of the young vibrant Kenya Dance Industry, please show up and support Dance as an art in Kenya. Without this moral support from within, the art will not develop.

As a dancer, and in support of the Kenya Dance Council, I add a plea:  Spread the word! And come watch the show, tickets are affordable :) Thank you all! Hope to see you all there.
